Olus Education – Scratch
We have been recently enrolled in the Olus Education Programme. Through Olus we will use our chromebooks to further develop our ICT skills. The first course we are completing is ‘Scratch’. This course helps pupils to learn coding, collaboration and it is lots of fun!
Atlas Hunt
Third and fourth class have been learning how to use an Atlas. We completed an Atlas Hunt to find different cities and landmarks!
WOW Wall
Each week some of our work is selected to be placed on the wow wall. Well done to this weeks pupils!
Homemade Musical Instruments
We brought in lots of scrap materials from home and made our own instruments in class! We got some ideas from our music programme Dabbledoo. Check out some of the instruments below.

Christmas Concert Preparation
We have made many trips to Conna Hall to prepare for the Christmas Concert. We will we doing three pieces for the concert and the excitement is building in the school!

Check out this creation which uses art and science equipment to make it look like sonic is running! This was made by a pupil in our class when we studied circuits. They added the paper to the motor using blu-tack.
Circuits
We have been learning about circuits in 3rd/4th class. We created our own simple circuits and then added a switch!
Our Local Natural Environment
To start off the year we have been learning about the various plants, trees and minibeasts in our local natural environment. As part of this pupils have brought in leaves, nuts and fruits. We used these to create our own imaginative art pieces.
