Well done to one of our pupils who was racing a Ninja Kart at the weekend. This is a kart chassis powered by a 50cc Honda engine, with a roll cage and panelling.
The track she was racing at was Tipperary Raceway, Rosegreen, Co. Tipperary. This is the only track in the Republic of Ireland where these can be raced.
She started racing in February 2023 when the class came to Ireland. They have been raced in Northern Ireland since 2013.
They race on a tarmac oval and the class is restricted to Juniors aged 6-11 years old.
She received a participation trophy on Sunday. Well done for taking part. Next stop is the Grand Prix!!
