Clothing Collection

Thanks to the PA for organising another very successful clothing collection for us. Thanks to everyone for donating their unwanted clothes, shoes, towels etc. We are amazed that we collected 750kg!!

Amber Flag

We are delighted to add a new amber flag to our flag collection. The amber committee worked really hard through fund raising and raising awareness of positive mental health in the school this year. We will continue to work on having a positive, inclusive school for all in the new school year.

Infant School Tour

There is great excitement in school today, the junior and senior infants are off on school tour to Leahys Open Farm. We hope they have a fantastic day.

Cork City Sports

Well done to our super athletes today. We have come home with loads of trophies but more importantly some very proud children and families. They looked really smart in their new singlets. Massive thanks to the PA for funding them.

A Night At The Opera

We had a lovely night at Lismore Castle for Macbeth. The Blackwater Valley Opera provided us with a free bus and free tickets to their dress rehearsal. It was a late one but worth it for the experience.

Athletics vests

Sixth Class Tour

Sixth class had their school tour in Ballyhass, Coachford. We were lighting camp fires, went on the high nets, had lots of fun on the inflatables and tried our hand at archery. Chess Club

Chess club is running every Friday in Mr. Clancys seomra. We have up to 30 children from fourth to sixth learning to play or refining their skills. Our club came about as a result of requests from the children.

Bike Week 2023

We have so many bikes in school today it looks like a bike shop!! Well done to everyone who cycled to school this week. We have been giving away some bike related prizes to all the classes. Thee will be another chance to win tomorrow.
