The weather stayed fine for us today. We had a very enjoyable sports day on both Conna pitch and the yard. There were lots of games, messing and laughter. A great way to spend our final Monday of the school year.

Well done to these gymnasts for showing great improvement in their gymnastics over the weekend and for persevering all year with it.

The sports day that didn’t happen!! We will try again next week. At least we still got to enjoy the ice-cream!!

Thanks to Alan and Giles for the excellent Taekwon-do demonstration today. Many of us are looking forward to the lessons starting in September.

We had a lovely day of celebrations in school today for Ms Roche. We celebrated her 24 years of loyal service and dedication as an SNA in the school. Thanks to the PA for organising another very successful clothing collection for us. Thanks to everyone for donating their unwanted clothes, shoes, towels etc. We are amazed that we collected 750kg!!

We are delighted to add a new amber flag to our flag collection. The amber committee worked really hard through fund raising and raising awareness of positive mental health in the school this year. We will continue to work on having a positive, inclusive school for all in the new school year.

There is great excitement in school today, the junior and senior infants are off on school tour to Leahys Open Farm. We hope they have a fantastic day.

Well done to our super athletes today. We have come home with loads of trophies but more importantly some very proud children and families. They looked really smart in their new singlets. Massive thanks to the PA for funding them.
